Private Lessons
General Dog Training and Behavior Modification

One-on-one help with the thing you’re stuck on
If you’ve been working at the same problem for months and nothing is sticking, a private lesson is the fastest way forward. It’s you, your dog and me — no other dogs in the building, no waiting your turn — so the whole session goes on what you actually need.
Private lessons are especially good for:
- Reactive dogs — whether overly friendly, easily distracted, or quick to get wound up by what is going on around them
- Aggressive dogs — who need a safe, controlled setting to work through their triggers without the pressure of other dogs nearby
- Dogs building confidence — being the only dog in the building makes a calm, secure place to learn
And it’s not only the dogs. Owners tell me they feel more relaxed in a private session, and that makes a real difference to how quickly things click. Plenty of dogs start here and go on to join group classes.
Not sure a private lesson is what you need? Tell me about your dog and I’ll point you to the right place to start.
Getting hold of me: I’m usually in the training room with a dog, so the contact form reaches me best — it comes straight to my inbox and I answer as soon as I’m free. If you’d rather I called you back, say so in your message and leave your number.

When are private lessons held?
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, 11:00 am – 3:00 pm, and Saturday, noon – 3:00 pm. When you book, the calendar shows the times still free on those days.
Before your first lesson
Add your dog in your account under Dogs, with a photo of their rabies certificate. It takes a minute, and it means I have what I need on the day. Ask me if anything is unclear.
How paying works: you buy the lesson or the package first, then pick your day and time from your account. Paying up front keeps the schedule fair — repeat no-shows were costing other dogs the appointment times they needed.

New to me? Start with the Dog Training Evaluation — half an hour to meet your dog, see what is going on and work out the right plan together. It is also how I place a dog in the right group class.

Please note: what you buy waits in your account under Yours to book — that is where you pick the day, the time and which dog is coming. Nothing is booked until you do, so a package can be spread across the year.
Where: Endless Pawsabilities, LLC, 3572 Hurricane Creek Rd, Hurricane, WV.
Changing or cancelling: you can move or cancel a lesson yourself up to the day before — the session goes straight back on your account, at no charge. On the day of the lesson itself it counts as used. If something has gone badly wrong, get in touch and we’ll sort it out together.
Refunds: sessions you have not used are refunded case by case — just ask. If your dog passes away while a package is still active, I refund what is left unused.
Packages expire one year from the day you buy them.
At-home and off-site lessons
These can be arranged, and they are always 60-minute lessons. They are not bought online: I schedule them by hand, so they take longer to arrange and the travel fee is settled with me directly. Get in touch and I’ll set one up.
Travel fee per visit: 0–10 miles $30; 11–20 miles $50; 21–30 miles $70 (up to a 45-minute drive). Mileage follows the “best route” between addresses on Google Maps.
For health reasons, I cannot teach an at-home session in a home where there is tobacco or vape use.
